BOOKS

Game of Thrones Art Book | 8.5x11   Hardcover   33 pages
This art book was created as part of a limited edition bundle for the Game of Thrones video game on Xbox, PlayStation and PC download. I had the pleasure of working with the game developers (Cyanide), HBO licensing and George R.R. Martin's PR team. The developers provided assets including sketches, hand and computer generated images, towns, houses and scenic backgrounds. We were also able to land behind-the-scenes interview with the creators of the video game. I designed the entire layout, including the cover treatment.

Eternal Poison Art Book | 6.5 x 11   Softcover   100 pages
This art book was originally released in Japan to accompany the launch of a video game, Eternal Poison. I reassembled the assets, along with translated copy, making it more appealing to North American consumers. I also reached out to the original illustrator to create exclusive cover art for North America. He agreed, and we went through multiple revisions before finalizing on the current cover.

Persona 4 Art Book | 8.5 x 11   Softcover   100 pages
This art book was created as part of a limited edition bundle for Persona 4, an RPG video game on PlayStation. I worked closely with the Japanese developers and artists to collect original concept sketches, computer generated characters, scenic backgrounds and artwork used for marketing and PR campaigns.

Divinity II Art Book | 5.25 x 7.5   Softcover   45 pages
Since Atlus wanted to bundle an art book with each video game for Divinity II on PlayStation, the team decided to create a small art book, allowing major retailers to carry this bundled game without occupying additional shelf space. The biggest challenge of creating this book was it's size - how do I translate the grandiose scale of Divinity II's world into a tight space? The cover had a special soft coating and slightly embossed title treatment.

Luminous Art Book | 8.5 x 11   Softcover   60 pages
This art book was created as a pre-order incentive for the launch of Luminous Art, a video game on Nintendo DS. While most images were computer generated, the original sketches and artwork utilized for marketing and PR campaigns had a soft, hand drawn feel. To further emphasize this style, I chose a thick, textured stock paper for both interior and cover to give it the look and feel of a watercolor painting.
